Dog-Friendly Pubs in Beadnell

Dog-friendly pub Beadnell

Putting your pup in a kennel to go on holiday is like leaving a family member behind. Well, in Beadnell you won’t have to worry. Dogs get a warm welcome across Northumberland, and our village is no different.

There are fantastic dog-friendly pubs in Beadnell, all within walking distance of our holiday cottages. Here are our favourites…

  • 1-minute walk from our Beadnell cottages
  • Dogs allowed in the bar and restaurant
  • Water containers for dogs
  • Beer garden

The Craster Arms is one of our favourite spots in the village. Dogs are welcome in the cosy, country-style pub and restaurant, as well as the beer garden. There are even water containers and a dedicated tap in the garden to keep them hydrated.

The Craster Arms does plenty to keep owners hydrated too. There’s always a rotation of local beers on tap and a selection of local craft gins and spirits including Lindisfarne Gin, Holy Island Gin and White Knight Alnwick Rum.

With the motto, “Everyone is welcome,” you can rest assured that includes the dogs. Beadnell Towers is a great next stop on your dog-friendly pub crawl as it’s only one minute from The Craster Arms.

Beyond its penchant for pups, Beadnell Towers will scratch your itch for a great Northumbrian pub. You’ll find beers from the Alnwick Brewery and gins from Pilgrim Spirit Company, both sourced just 15 miles away. Drink them at the quintessentially British bar or sneak off to the Reading Room for a quiet one with your four-legged friend.

The Landing pub

Just 100 yards from Beadnell Bay, The Landing is where dog walkers come to slake their thirsts after a long beach stroll – yep, the beach is pup-friendly too, all year round! The space offers indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome inside and out.

This beachside bar serves up some of the coast’s finest seafood – the smell will certainly pique your dog’s attention – as well as draught beers and a great wine selection. When the sun’s out, The Landing’s patio is where you want to be and even when it isn’t, the heaters and blankets will keep you toasty.
